Wisconsin YMCA Youth in Government believes that we can build better communities through young people who are prepared to be global citizens. It is generous donors like you who ensure we can have an impact on each individual we serve. All of our programs focus on developing leaders. We promote lifelong, responsible citizenship to the youth in our state. Your donation makes this life-changing experience possible for all students, regardless of their family’s income. WIYIG provides everyone the opportunity to grow and thrive, to connect with others, and contribute to a better community. Everything we do is in service of making us – as individuals and a community – better.
With your help, YIG can:
Offer scholarships so that no one is turned away due to financial need
Purchase essential program equipment and supplies
Provide quality training and retreats programs for youth leadership
Resources to execute conference planning and programming
Offer financial assistance for our delegates to attend CONA, a national YIG conference held in North Carolina every summer
How to Donate
Wisconsin is now a program of the YMCA Center for Youth Voice, based in the YMCA of the North. As a result, all donations are now processed through the YMCA of the North website. Simply navigate to the donation page and select "Center for Youth Voice" from the program drop down.
